Season 3 Episode 10 is live!

PrisonTube is challenging you to contribute to the web's best Prison Break vidcast (that's us)! After watching the next episode of Prison Break (Feb. 4, 2008) create a clip on your cell, video camera, or any other way you can and email it to us (prisontube@gmail.com) and if we like it we'll put it in our next episode.

Technical Details:
Gmail should allow a total message size up to 20MB. We can convert from pretty much any typical format into something we can edit, so just pull it right off your cell phone or whatever and we'll do our best. If you send us a clip you are implicitly consenting to its use on our videocast.

Gretchen's Text Message

First off, we're a little slow getting our latest episode posted here, but we are working on it. Pesky projects at work keep getting in the way of our filming schedule!

And now to Gretchen's text message. Take a look at this quick screen shot (via my cell phone) of Gretchen's smart phone, from ~15 minutes into episode 10 (just before Sucre meets with Gretchen at the bar):

Text message

Gretchen appears to be sending a message to "Edward Guthrie" (whoever he is) pretending to be Gary Miller--another alias for Whistler. Does this mean that Edward Guthrie thinks it's actually Gary (Whistler) texting him? If so, that would indicate that Gretchen is trying to keep up the scam (by sending text messages) long enough to get Whistler out of Sona.

Alternately, could the text message be code--with "Edward Guthrie" being a fictitious alias just as "Gary Miller" may be a fictitious alias? Could "Sales" and "through the roof" and the golf reference all be code for something else?

I'm leaning in the direction of the first possibility--that Gretchen is trying to control a situation that got out of hand (Whistler being sent to Sona) by hiding that from someone farther up the food chain (Edward Guthrie).

What's YOUR take?

Season 3 Episode 9 Is Up!

The PrisonTube team is back after a two month Prison Break broadcast hiatus. Did Michael crack in the heat? Did Gretchen go soft letting Lincoln see LJ? Is Bellick the only tough guy left? Lincoln and Sucre have a plan in the works, but the game has changed inside Sona and they're running out of time. Tune in and, as always, let us know what you think!

Prison Break 2008!

After almost two months of striking writers, reruns, Christmas specials and reality TV, Prison Break is back--right where it left off with season 3 episode 8.

Season 3 episode 9 hits the ground running, with Michael thrown into "the redneck sauna" (as T-Bag put it) to reconsider telling all he knows to the General who's trying to piece together what happened with the failed prison break. Meanwhile, Lincoln seems to be running out of ideas and Sofia doesn't know what to think about Whistler (who, despite everything, she still appears to love).

Did it seem like Michael gave up pretty quickly while sweltering in the Saran-Wrap hot house? And what about Gretchen letting Lincoln see his son? Lechero seems to be losing control of Sona and Mahone isn't able to contribute anything until he's past the self-inflicted torture of withdrawal symptoms. Is everyone getting soft?

On the other hand, Lincoln and Sucre seem to have a plan they're working on and Bellick goes pretty hard-core and creative when the chicken foot was left on his pillow. (And that didn't escape the attention of the ever-observant T-Bag either!)

The Prison Tube gang will be bouncing around these and other thoughts in our next episode. We're planning to shoot tomorrow (Brian had a schedule conflict today) and hope to have it posted by the end of the week. Stay tuned and let us know what you think!
