The PrisonTube team had to film without Lauren for the first time ever--he was enjoying some time off and will be back next week. The rest of us agreed that episode 403 was an improvement over the 2 hours we had seen previously. Season 4 Episode 3

I just rewatched the episoode to make sure I was accurate in pointing this out. When self see the video michael took on his cell phone he gets a look on his face of suprise and has a flashback of his boss telling him the plug is being pulled.
The only reason he would have given michael the go ahead to continue was if his boss was on that video otherwise he had no hope or intention to go over his head. im sure he called the gov and told him he needs more time and might have even told him his boss was involved.
the main reason he didnt make a big deal outta seeing his boss is because he doesnt know who can be trusted and there are other people around agents that may also be currupt in front of him and michael.
Very good catch, lostsouldier! The whole sequence of Self watching Michael's video happens very quickly, but I think you're right on the money.
If Self's boss is on the video, it also explains why the boss wanted to pull the plug (since it wouldn't take long for him figure out that Self's new team actually had a shot at compromising the Scylla files--something Self apparently hadn't come close to doing for some time).
