Over It...

E! Online has a video of Kristin reporting that Sarah Wayne Callies is calling it quits to become a full-time mommy. Apparently this aired on the 26th and I know I for one believe everything that E! reports…

I know a few weeks back I wrote how I watch the show because of the chemistry between Michael and Sara…but I’m over it…and ready to move on…

With that said this is what I want to see for her exit from the show…the kidnappers need to cut off her toes like Abruzzi did to Michael…then make Lincoln give them to Michael to motivate him to get Whistler out of Sona. And to really prove a point as to who is in control, just as Michael shows up to save Sara, they need to kill her right in front of him. Heartache can be a real motivator... He will now want to revenge her death and work his way up the “company” ladder…

And one more request…make him do it with his shirt off, its Panama and its hot, who needs long sleeves??

We started this blog and video commentary for “fun” and its actually becoming more than the four of us would have expected. I checked YouTube last night at around 8 and we had an Honor…#92 - Most Viewed (This Week) – Entertainment…right now we are up to #62! Season 3 Episode 2 is Live

Whistler's Red Lights?

So it's around 1:15am and I just finished watching this evening's Prison Break episode I DVR'd a few hours earlier. Another great episode! Nice to see Sucre again (glad he's recovered somewhat--at the end of last season wasn't he passed out in the street from blood loss?). Lincoln is proving to be resourceful and crafty on the outside, but maybe more controlled than last season? I expected him to go off on "Susan B. Anthony" (the gal with scratches on her face) but he was restrained. And a pretty clever move switching the birdwatching book--nice.

Back in prison we finally get to see the Australian "Whistler"--who seems as confused about why "they" want him on the outside as I am. Michael's torn: he knows what it's like and sympathizes with the guy but I'm thinking Sarah and his nephew will probably trump that when push comes to shove...

About 35 minutes into the show, just after Sucre talks to a couple of cops at the bus stop and after sitting down next to a lady with a baby, the scene switches to Whistler sloshing through the prison sewer. But there's these 2 odd red lights centered in the lower third of the frame--to the left of the "Fox" watermark for maybe 2 or 3 seconds. Any thoughts or ideas? I'm guessing it's a reflection of some sort. But if so it's a really obvious goof and Prison Break episodes are usually quite polished. Here's a few crude frame grabs (taken with my cell phone during slow-mo playback):










I'll ask the PrisonTube gang about it and we'll try to add a better-quality clip in our next PrisonTube episode which we'll be filming in about 12 hours. Assuming I actually wake up when my alarm goes off at 6:00am!

UPDATE (1:10pm Sept. 25, 2007):
Did some additional searching during a lunch break--no one seems to know what these red lights are about. Several posts on a TV.com forum indicated that the red dots showed up in the season premiere episode--during the scene when Linc goes to the morgue to possibly identify Sarah. The dots also reportedly appeared in last night's K-ville episode.

Oddly, they don't appear in the Prison Break broadcast in all markets (forum posters checked TiVo recordings)--and it's reported that they didn't show in the HD broadcast of Prison Break last night.

Technical Difficulties

Just a quick note to explain that we'd have the next episode of PrisonTube up by now, with our comments on episode 1 of season 3, if it were not for some technical difficulties with our production process. We already filmed the show and we've got our media together but we're having some trouble transferring some of the data.

Hopefully it will be up by late tomorrow night - on the weekend for sure.

Missing?!

I just finished the season premier and I just want to say it was so much more than I had ever expected. I'm totally excited that the show is back and taking place in prison.

With that said, where is Dr. Sara Tancredi?? The actress that plays her, Sarah Wayne Callie, reportedly had a baby the first of September which obviously conflicts/conflicted with filming. Her name also doesn't show in the opening credits which could be a sign of her not returning... I did some searching and no "articles" confirmed or denied any rumors...I need to know. Anybody??

I loved (yes LOVED) that Michael brings her up like first thing in the episode and states how much she means to him and makes his brother search for her…Awe, so cute…honestly as cheesy as it is I look forward to the scenes with Sara and Michael or for that matter the almost scenes! It just warms my heart...I guess I'm easy! I know I will be tuning in next Monday, to see if they get reunited...
