I liked the second episode a little bit less than the first one. I thought the opening to episode one, where Scofield is walking to Sona was pretty freaking creepy. I don’t know if I’m just used to it now, but it really doesn’t seem as dark and scary anymore, just kind of gross. Maybe now that one pipe is fixed the plumbing in the place with start working.

I guess I just imagine the worst of the worst might include something similar to the following; Self Mutilators(Carl Rudolph Stargher), Cutters(Freddy), Psycho’s(Hannibal Lecter, Jason Voorhees, Jack Torrance), Religious Freaks (David Koresh), people you might see in an insane asylum, etc. With some freaking effort they had a lot of room to play there with introducing new characters, as well as fun to watch special effects. I know obviously it’s not a horror show, but it could be darkened some, since that what they claimed to offer us.

Don’t forget T-Bag & Abruzzi they didn’t mess around. They were just plain badass and scary.

As for the plot, writing, and storyline; I know it’s only the beginning of the season, and I’m sure some questions will unfold, but right now, I feel like the questions I do have really aren’t keeping me watching with as much interest. In earlier seasons it seemed there were a lot more stories going on at once, all sort of meshing together, keeping me at the edge of my seat, dying to watch the next episode. It feels like we are really on one set of tracks with not a whole lot of action from other view points.

In response to your comment about it taking 50 matches to light the wick I found it interesting he knew right where the clog was at in the pipe and how he got the bag of alcohol to the clog. Maybe they just ran out of time to show him figuring that part out. I do remember him running his hand across those small nasty pipes in the sewer; I guess that’s how he knew.

It turns out that the red lights that appear during some of the broadcasts are little pieces of advertising for FOX's new show coming this January, 'The Sarah Connor Chronicles'. It's a show based off the Terminator films, hence the red lights or eyes rather. Some people reported seeing the actual Terminator Skull in other broadcasts of various FOX shows.
